Quality Instruction Given by Experienced Music Professional
Building a solid foundation in fundamentals and fostering a life-long love in music are what we strive for. In order to achieve this, the teacher meets both the student and the parent in an interview prior to the first lesson to discuss the student’s past learning experiences and future goals. After learning the needs and goals of each individual student, the teacher will plan the lesson and tailor her teaching to the ability and learning style of the student.
State of the Art Facilities
Our studio in Richmond features two pianos: upright Yamaha piano for beginners and Boston (from the Steinway company) grand piano for the more advanced students. We also have a library of CD recordings and music scores for the students to use at no additional charge.
Opportunity for Public Performances
Students can learn a lot about piano performance by playing on stage as well as by attending recitals and concerts and listening to others perform. Throughout the year, our students are given opportunities to participate in recitals, Royal Conservatory of Music Examinations, and competitions/music festivals. In addition, our students are offered the opportunity to receive discounts on admission tickets when attending certain concerts/recitals given by professional musicians.
